This policy explains how Midab, LLC, doing business as Dino Plumbing & Service Pros ("Dino," "we," "us"), handles personal information collected through dinoservicepros.com, our phone lines, text messages, email and service visits in Utah.
Information we collect
- Information you give us: name, phone number, email, service address, ZIP code, details and photos about the work you need, and anything else you send us.
- Service and billing records: appointments, estimates, invoices, warranty and membership records, and payment status. Card payments are handled by our payment processor; we do not store full card numbers on this website.
- Website usage information: pages viewed, the site or ad that sent you here, device and browser type, approximate location from your IP address, and similar data collected with cookies or similar technology.
- Calls and messages: call and text records, and recordings where we tell you a call may be recorded.
How we use it
- To respond to requests, schedule and perform work, send estimates, invoices and appointment reminders, and honor warranties and memberships.
- To send news, offers and maintenance reminders if you've agreed to receive them. You can opt out at any time.
- To understand how people find and use our website so we can improve it and our advertising.
- To protect our customers, staff and business, and to meet legal, tax and licensing requirements.
Text messages
If you give us your mobile number, we may text you about your request, appointments, estimates, invoices and service follow-ups. We will only send marketing texts if you separately agree to receive them. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. Agreeing to marketing texts is never a condition of buying service.
We do not sell, rent or share mobile numbers or text-messaging consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing purposes. Information may be shared only with providers that help us deliver messages.
Marketing emails, including the free Dino Club newsletter, include an unsubscribe link and our mailing address. Unsubscribing from marketing does not stop messages about work you've requested.
Cookies and analytics
We use cookies and similar tools, which may include Google Analytics, Google Ads and Microsoft Clarity, to measure traffic and see which pages and ads bring in customers. These providers process data under their own privacy policies. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we do not load analytics or advertising tags for that visit.
Who we share information with
We do not sell personal information. We share it only:
- with service providers that help us run the business, such as our scheduling and customer-management software (Jobber), accounting, payment processing, website hosting, email and texting providers, under terms that limit their use of it;
- with manufacturers or distributors when needed to process a warranty or order parts for your job;
- with financing partners only if you choose to apply for financing;
- when required by law, or to protect rights, property or safety; and
- with a successor if the business is reorganized or sold, subject to this policy.
Your choices and requests
You may ask us to tell you what personal information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or give you a copy, and you may opt out of marketing and of targeted advertising. We honor these requests for all customers, whether or not a particular state law requires it, subject to records we must keep for legal, tax, warranty or safety reasons. Email hello@dinoservicepros.com or call 435-236-4568. We may need to verify your identity, and we will respond within 45 days. If we deny a request, you may ask us to reconsider by replying to our response.
Security and retention
We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards to protect personal information, and we will notify affected people of a security breach as required by Utah law. No system is completely secure. We keep information as long as needed for the purposes above, including warranty periods and record-keeping requirements, and then delete or de-identify it.
My Dino Home profile
Information collected and stored: To provide customized maintenance and emergency service, we collect and store home service records, equipment model/serial numbers, maintenance history, assessment reports, and job-site photos within your "My Dino Home" profile (hosted via Jobber and secure cloud servers).
Access and home transfers: Your profile data is accessible only by authorized Dino Den staff and technicians. If you sell your home, service and equipment history records may be transferred to the new homeowner or shared with prospective buyers solely upon your prior written or portal authorization.
Data export, correction and deletion: You have the right to inspect, export, correct, or request deletion of your personal data. Deletion requests will be fulfilled within 30 days, except where record retention is required by Utah law, tax regulations, or active warranty tracking. My Dino Home accounts and storage
Anyone may create a free My Dino Home account by supplying a name, email address, and ZIP code. Information you voluntarily record (including HVAC/plumbing equipment details, serial numbers, shutoff valve locations, property photos, service logs, and maintenance calendar settings) is stored on secure cloud infrastructure hosted via Netlify and cloud database providers. This information is accessible solely by you and authorized Dino Plumbing & Service Pros personnel.
If your property is within our active service area, your contact details and equipment notes may be synced with our customer management system (Jobber) to allow our technicians to serve your home efficiently. Your calendar subscription feed is generated using a unique private link; anyone possessing this link can view your scheduled maintenance reminders. You may regenerate or revoke this private calendar link at any time from your account settings.
Dino Dax AI assistant and Anthropic data processing
Dino Dax is an automated artificial intelligence assistant. When you submit a text query, photo, or prompt to Dax, your query, attached images, recent chat context, and relevant saved home profile details are transmitted via API to our third-party AI partner, Anthropic, PBC, to generate real-time responses. Anthropic processes this data strictly to provide model responses and retains API logs for up to 30 days for safety and abuse-monitoring purposes; Anthropic does not use your API inputs or photos to train its public AI models.
We store a record of questions submitted to Dax on your account history to optimize app functionality, monitor safety protocols, and assist our technical staff during scheduled service visits. Conversation history is retained in your local browser cache; you can clear local history at any time using the “New Chat” control. Dax provides automated informational output only; it does not provide professional engineering, licensed inspection, or legal disclosures.
Equipment details, label scans, and photos
When you add equipment in My Dino Home, by typing it in, adding a photo, or scanning a label, we save details such as brand, model, serial number, and age, along with the ZIP code and city already on your account. Label scan photos are read by the same AI partner described above. We may use these details to send you service reminders, safety or recall notices, and offers that fit your home. Marketing emails go only to people who have opted in, and you can unsubscribe at any time. We remove precise location data (GPS) from photos before we store them.
Export, correction, and account deletion
You retain the right to inspect, correct, export, or request permanent deletion of your My Dino Home account data and uploaded media. To submit a data deletion request, email privacy@dinoservicepros.com. Account deletion will be completed within 30 days, excluding records required to be retained under statutory tax, accounting, or trade warranty laws.
Children
This website is for adults arranging home services. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Links to other sites
Our site links to other services, such as Jobber's request form, review sites and social media. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies.
Changes
We review this policy at least once a year. If we make material changes, we'll update the date above and, where required, tell you directly.
